Hop on your bike in front of Hotel City Villach and explore the region: leisurely along the Drau cycle path – a few pedal strokes and you’re there – or by mountain bike to the pump tracks in Drobollach am Faaker See, the many downhill tours, all around on our nearby mountains, such as the Gerlitze for the very experienced. Road cyclists get their money’s worth on challenging mountain tours or relaxed lake tours – here you can always continue on two wheels. Stop for refreshments in good Carinthian inns – we are happy to recommend them to you. We are a member of the Drau cycle path association.
Cycling fun for every track width
Whether racing bike, mountain bike or trekking bike – Villach offers the perfect route for everyone! On a racing bike, you can whizz comfortably along the Drau cycle path, round Lake Ossiach or Lake Faak. For adrenaline junkies, the cable car takes mountain bikes to the summits – or you can cycle up yourself, true to the motto: Haxln geben Stoff! Demanding trails await you in the Karawanken. Fancy a real challenge? Three countries in one day are easily achievable on the Ciclovia Alpe Adria cycle path – starting directly from Hotel City Villach!

At Hotel City you can easily hire a bike and explore the area. Whether for a little shopping spree in the old town, a tour to the lakes or along the Drau cycle path – our comfortable trekking bikes are ready for you.

Helmets for your safety are available at reception. Our team will be happy to help you with the preparations. Our bikes are available from May to October.
